MAKE UP REMOVER

For this make up remover You need only one oil of choice. It is used combined with water and cotton pads.

My favorite choices for removing make up are argan, jojoba or hemp oil. Some other nice choices for me would be baobab oil, apricot kernel oil, almond oil, pumpkin seed oil. It depends on the oils You use for Your face, those base oils will be most suitable to remove make up. If You don’t know which are the right oils for Your skin type, You can read this article and You will get the idea of what oil to try.

Coconut oil works well for some people, but its comedogenic index is high, so it can clog pores. You can try and see if it suits You.

You only need to wet a cotton pad and squeeze out excess water. Drop 2-3 drops of oil on the cotton pad and remove make up.

After that You can wash Your face with warm water and wash cloth and proceed with Your usual skincare routine.

This is a very natural and non toxic way to remove make up and if You use the right oil, it will nourish Your skin as well. There is no need to apply moisturizer if skin is cleaned this way. SO, if You went out that night and had a bit too much to drink, it may be a great advantage to not have to do anything more but this and Your sin is cleaned and hydrated at the same time. I use hemp oil at the moment and sometimes coconut oil. Neither of those oils burn my eyes and they take off all make up very efficiently, even the smallest traces of mascara. Wet cotton pad slides gently over the skin, so there is no need to drag it around.
